How To Test Vaginal pH Levels
You should test your vaginal pH once per month. The healthy internal vaginal flora (microbiota) has a natural way of self-cleaning and keeping itself safe from infection (yeast) and bacteria. But when using soaps or harsh chemicals not meant for your intimate area it unbalances the vagina’s natural pH. This can lead to infections and irritations.
Are You Prone To Yeast Infections?
If you are prone to reoccurring vaginal yeast infections, it is important to follow a specific daily personal hygiene routine in order to treat and prevent them. Begin by measuring your vaginal pH using a pH indicator strip and then use the correct regimen according to your result to end the vaginal yeast infection.
- If your pH level is at 4.5 or above use Zone Control morning and night for 3 consecutive days only.
- If your pH level is at 4.2 use Zone Control for 1 day only.
Note: After 3 days of the Zone Control treatment, use the pH Balancing Gel or the pH Soothing Gel morning and night for a minimum of 1 week.
